Dayle graduated from Portland High School in 1964, and Lansing Community College in nursing. She worked at Sparrow Hospital, and for Dr. Anderson and Dr. Brown in Portland. She enjoyed camping and reading. Preceding her in death was her father, Vern; daughter, Renee. Surviving are her husband, Lee Bird; son, Randy Bird of South Carolina; 6 grandchildren; sister, Debra (Tom) McHugh of Cadillac; nephews, Ryan and Chad McHugh; great nephew, Logan McHugh.
