David Kent Gregory, age 61, of Hannibal, MO passed away Friday, February 11, 2022.
David was born on October 1, 1960, in Hannibal, Missouri, the son of Mary Jane (York) and Homer Robert Gregory, Jr.
Survivors include his sons, Nicholas Gregory Hiles (Janice), and Preston Gregory Hiles of Tyler, Texas; his daughter, Amanda Gregory Hiles of Tyler, Texas; his sister, Teresa Gregory Corso (Thomas) of Erie, PA, his aunt, Ginnie (Virginia) York of Hannibal, MO.; his cousins, Kellee York and Mia York of Hannibal, MO, Susan York Wilson (Christopher) of Baton Rouge, LA, and Marcus York of Albuquerque, NM; his nephews, Francesco Corso of Orlando, FL, and Patrick Corso of Erie, PA; and his close friend, Gail Parks of Hannibal, MO.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Mary Jane Gregory; grand-parents, Homer and Ruth Gregory and Ray and Violet York; brother, Thomas Gregory; sister, Elaine Gregory; uncles, Ray York, Jr. and Don York; and aunt, Helen York.
David graduated from Hannibal High School in the class of 1978 and went on to receive his degree in Industrial Security at University of Central Missouri in 1982.
David worked several years at Gregory Floral Co. with his parents, in telecommunications, owned a dry cleaner store, and did blogging.
David was a member of First Christian Church, where he helped his parents decorate the sanctuary and especially enjoyed the music.
