David B. Ludwick
Shelby Township formerly of Ionia
Age 76, passed away on May 16, 2006. He was born on November 24, 1929 in St. Johns the son Harold B. and Susan Ardis (Davarn) Ludwick. David retired from General Motors after 34 years of service, was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War and an avid hunter and golfer. He was very active in youth sports and for 40 years, officiated many sporting events. David delivered Meals on Wheels and was a member St. Renee Catholic Church in Sterling Heights, where he was active in various church activities. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Thomas. Surviving are a loving companion, Carol Poma of Shelby Township and her family; children Nick (Larriann) Ludwick of Alma, Susan (Gregg) Butts of Williamston, Gale (Gregg) Yeomans of Ionia, Tony (fiancee, Esper) Ludwick of Holland, Beth (Tom) Krausz of Portland, Tim Ludwick of Perry, and Patrick Ludwick of Ionia; former wife, Velma Ludwick; grandchildren Eric and Chelsea Ludwick, Caden Kipp, Bradley Butts, Dan Yeomans, Eben, Tommy, Nick, Brittney and Sommer Krausz; 1 Great Grandchild, Regan Ludwick; brother, Peter Ludwick of Ionia and many nieces and nephews.
