Obituary
Fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Catholic Church. Darleen Venita Pund passed away on May 12, 2018 at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of Fred W. Pund. She is survived by her three daughters, Karen Sue (David) McBride of St. Peters, MO, Pamela (Steve) Hepler of O’Fallon, MO, Cathy (Terry) Raterman of Warrenton, MO; sister, Jacqueline (Don) Schappe of St. Charles, MO; brother, Roger (Ann) Sommer of Eureka, MO; seven grandchildren, Jason McBride; Erin (Nick) Eyman, Ryan (Caroline) Raterman, Briana Raterman, Melanie Raterman, Taylor Hepler, Connor Hepler; great-grandchild, Collin Eyman; She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Sommer, mother, Colette Sommer nee Rhodes, husband, Fred W. Pund, twin daughters, Janet Leigh and Wanda Faye Pund, sister, Gladys Griesenauer. Darleen was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church. Co-owner of True Value Hardware Store in O’Fallon, she volunteered at St. Joseph West Hospital, active at St. Ann’s Ladies Sodality, took part in making many quilts at St. Theodore. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
