Dale Duane Beard, born March 26, 1925 in Alma, Mich., passed away March 1, 2013.
As a celebrated World War II veteran, he served in the South Pacific and was awarded two purple hearts. He was member of the Shiloh Community Church and the VFW Sheridan post.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Edith Beard and children Dale (Heidi) Beard, Diane (Paul) Taylor, Mike (Peggy) Beard, Karen (Steve) Rich, Rob (Mary Ann) Beard, as well as 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren with one on the way.
