Wiscasset – Cornelia “Gail” Grundy, 75, of Freedom Song Lane died Friday, November 17, 2017 at her residence.
She was born in Boston, MA on June 25, 1942, a daughter of Lawrence G. and Hellena V. (Bergstrom) Leigh Sr. She graduated from Medway High School and on May 26, 1962 she married John J. Grundy. They moved to Wiscasset in 1978. She was employed with the DoD-Supervisor of Shipbuilding in Bath and later in retail in Brunswick.
Gail was an active member of St. Phillip’s Episcopal Church in Wiscasset, serving as; Altar Guild, a lay reader, on the Women of St. Phillip’s, the choir and cooking suppers for the church. She was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi.
