Clarence Gruhot, 70, of Argyle, MN, passed away on October, 24, 2009 at the North Valley Health Center in Warren, MN. He had dealt with diabetes for sixty years and recently was diagnosed with ALS.

Clarence Lavern Gruhot was born on May 4, 1939 in Middle River Township, Marshall County, Argyle, MN, the son of Stanley and Lucille (Kasprowicz) Gruhot. He attended school from grades 1-6 at Brushwood College in Middle River Township, grades 7 – 8 at Argyle Public School and he graduated from Crookston AC in 1957. On January 24, 1961, he married Helen Marie Johnson of Kennedy, MN. They made their home in Argyle. Clarence was a life long farmer.

He enjoyed collecting precision model tractors.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Helen; four children, Ramona (Mark) Gavin of Las Vegas, NV, Wayne (Lori) Gruhot of Argyle, MN, Marilyn Gruhot of Plymouth, MN and Gary (Jane) Gruhot of Argyle, MN; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Irene Burke and Delores Laplante all of Crookston, MN; brother, Kenneth (Darlene) Gruhot of Argyle, MN and sister-in-law, Delores Gruhot of Crookston, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, David; sister, Theresa and two brothers-in-law, John Burke and Willis Laplante.
