Dale Kenneth Carlson, age 61 of Minneapolis died May 3 rd. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverlee.
He was survived by his son, Gavin; father, Kenneth; stepmother, Jean; sisters: Nancy (Jon), Lori (Joel), Robyn, Renee, and Kelly (John); brothers: Randy (Patti), Roger (Stephanie), and Craig; many nieces and nephews and many other friends and relatives. Dale grew up in NE Minneapolis where he attended Edison high school and enjoyed Football, Wrestling, and Tennis. After high school he attended St. Cloud State University on a wrestling scholarship before transferring to the University of Minnesota to pursue his academics. He received a degree in Political Science. Dale had a love for seeing the world and learning as much as he could from the people around him, living in faraway places like Sweden and Spain. He will always be remembered for his contagious happy go lucky attitude. Dale was a man who would give the shirt off his back for anyone who needed it. People will remember him for his good spirit and humor that kept him going even when times got tough. He will be missed greatly by everyone he knew.
