The loving mother of Gay Ann (Ralston) Southern, leaves behind to cherish her memory 4 grandchildren: Crystal (Mahlon) Thomas, Jackie Southern, Dale Southern and Charles Southern, all of Battle Creek, Michigan.
Also mourning her passing are 5 great-granddaughters, Ariana Southern, Aliviah Hall, Jasmine Ray, Echo-Lynn Southern and Amarrissa Southern; 1 great-grandson, Aden Southern, all of Battle Creek, Michigan.
Surviving Capitola are nieces, Vinetta Gale of Battle Creek, Michigan, Glenna Farnham of Bellevue, Michigan, and Carol (Don) Benjamin of Saranac.
Capitola was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Washburn; sisters, Lillie and Olive Green; brother, Melford Bauman; and niece, Bonny Shattuck.
