Bruce Halfmann, 64, of Warren, MN, formerly of Stephen, MN, died on Wednesday morning, December 2, 2009 at the North Valley Health Center in Warren, MN.
Bruce Lee Halfmann was born on September 26, 1945 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Leo and Gladys (Benson) Halfmann. He lived in Stephen with his family and he was baptized at Salem Lutheran Church. Bruce was confirmed at the chapel at Fergus Falls Regional Center and has been a member of First Lutheran Church in Stephen since his youth. A severe illness at the age of seven months left Bruce with developmental disabilities. He remained in the care of his parents until the age of six when he resided at medical facilities in Faribault, Brainerd, Fergus Falls and Alexandria before moving to Warren in 1999.
Left to mourn his passing is a brother, Wayne Halfmann of Mesa, AZ and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Gladys Halfmann.
