Bonnie Jean Welker, 71, of Potosi passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Washington County Memorial Hospital in Potosi. She was born Saturday May 2, 1936 in Davisville, Missouri the daughter of Emery and Litha (Martin) Turnbough. Bonnie was united in marriage to Dale Welker on October 8, 1977 in Potosi, Missouri.

Those left to mourn her passing are her husband, Dale of the home; one son, Tim Carey and wife Mary of St. Louis, Missouri; one grandson, Timmy Carey Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Blake Eugene Carey and Zoey Elizabeth Palmasano; two brothers, Ellis Turnbough and wife Dawn of Davisville, Missouri, Lawrence Turnbough and wife Bonnie of Davisville, Missouri; two sisters, Dorothy Pierce of St. Louis, Missouri and Rosalene Turnbough of Davisville, Missouri; five step-children, Tamara Bauer of Bellevue, Nebraska, Paula Phares and husband Tom of Belgrade, Missouri; Sandra Curtis and husband Chris of Overland, Missouri, Gary Welker and wife Maggie of Martinton, Illinois, and Bonnie Jamerson and husband Allen of St. Louis, Missouri; two brothers-in-law, Carl Welker and wife Verna May of Steelville, Missouri and Max Welker and wife Fern of West Plains, Missouri and one sister-in-law, May Belle Yount of Cedar Hill, Missouri and many nieces and nephews and other family friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Turnbough, Troy Turnbough, Roy Turnbough and wife Helen; one sister, Jerldine Turnbough; and one brother-in-law, Jake Turnbough.

Bonnie attended the Berryman Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed being with family, especially her grandkids. She will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
