Billy “Bill” Eugene Yocom of Davisville, MO passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, MO at the age of 89 years. He was born January 25, 1923 in Grove, OK to Clarence Edward Yocom and Evelyn Fay Witty Yocom. On December 19, 1947 in St. Louis, MO, he was united in marriage to Willa Mae McCann who preceded him in death in 2009.
He will be sadly missed by his two sons Mike Yocom and Steve Yocom and wife Heidi all of Davisville, MO; one daughter Becky Russell and husband Melvin of Davisville, MO; two grand-daughters Rachel Mae Yocom and Cara Jean Yocom-Russell; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Willa Mae; one brother Joseph Clinton Yocom and wife Faye; and Aunt Juanita Leick.
Bill served his country in the U.S. Army during W.W. II from 1944 to 1946. He was involved in farming for many years.
Honored to be casket bearers were Doug Richards, Dillon Perry, Ellis Turnbough, Otis Coleman, Kevin Mitchell and Gary Muetzelfield.
