Beulah Irene Roper Moline, nee Edgar, passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Gibbs Care Center in Steelville, Missouri at the age of 91 years, 8 months and 11 days. She was born March 2, 1922 in Wesco, Missouri to Pleas Disco Edgar and Dora Lela Gorman Edgar.
Beulah was a member of the First Baptist Church of Steelville. She worked several years in Cuba at the shoe factory.
She enjoyed sewing and gardening for many years, but most of all enjoyed and loved seeing all of her family.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, David Roper of St. Ann, MO; three daughters, Mary Cummings and husband Rob, Carol Carr and husband Ed and Janice Snodgrass all of Steelville, MO; one sister, Bonnie Lea and husband Pete of Steelville, MO; sister in-law, Alma Edgar of St. James, MO; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Richard, Larry and Dean Roper; five brothers, Elmer Edgar and wife Edna, Cecil Edgar, Reuben Edgar and wife Opal, Harold and Bonnie Edgar; and one sister, Wanda Freie.
The Family received friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Honored to be casket bearers were Matthew Snodgrass, Phillip Downing, Robert Downing, Andrew Downing, James Roper and Eric Roper.
