Barbara Jane Price, 66 of Steelville, passed away Sunday morning, August 5, 2007 at the Gibbs Care Center in Steelville, Missouri.
She was born May 5, 1941 in Steelville, the daughter of James and Ethel (nee Freeman) Cornelius. Barbara was united in marriage to Charles Price on March 18, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union, four sons were born.
Those left to mourn her passing are her husband Charles of 46 years; her mother, Ethel Cornelius; four sons, Richard Price of Steelville, Missouri, Greg Price and wife Tammy of Steelville, Missouri, Robert Price of Steelville, Missouri and James Price and wife Carla of Sullivan, Missouri; four brothers Roy, Laddie, Vernon, and Renick Cornelius all of St. Louis, Missouri; and two sisters, Martha Sills and Jean Pulaski both St. Louis, Missouri; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Davis Cornelius.
Barbara graduated from Meramec Community College with an associate degree in St. Louis, Missouri. She was of the Methodist Faith. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
