Barbara Faye Thompson Barlow passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at the age of 82.
Barbara was born to David and Mildred Thompson on August 2, 1940 in Pensacola, FL. She caught the eye of a young Glenn Barlow while attending a church camp. They married on June 1, 1963 and for the next 59 years they built a home. She worked in real estate for many years but her life was church. She was an active member of the Community of Christ Church serving in various capacities but always serving. She was a musician playing both the organ and piano and a voice ready for the heavenly choir. She was ordained into the priesthood as Elder and served as pastor for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Barlow and a brother Tommy Thompson.
She is survived by her husband M. Glenn Barlow of Pascagoula, MS; sons, Joseph Glenn Barlow and wife Erica and Jeffrey Lynn Barlow and his wife Sharon all of Pascagoula, MS; four sisters, Jean Zonker, Jeanette Kramer, Katherine Arant, and Sharon Ward (Don); grandchildren, Joseph Seth Barlow, Zachary Glenn Barlow, Wallace Lane Barlow, Anna Faye Barlow, Jalen Everett and numerous other family and friends.
