Jerome Deandrea Contreras passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016, in the Masonic Children’s Hospital, Minneapolis, MN, at Seven Months of age, with his loving mother at his side.
Jerome was born several months premature on June 16, 2015, in Grand Forks, ND. He was under constant medical care all of his short life, but he was a sign of hope and love to his family who bravely watched his fight to live. When his failing body could no longer contain his strong spirit, the Dear Lord took him to Himself, where Jerome will watch over his family from above.
He will be remembered in the hearts of his family for his first smile of many smiles and for his affection despite his struggles.
Jerome is survived by his mother, Imelda Contreras of Oslo, MN; brothers, Seferino Garza, Felipe Garza, andTrayvon Contreras; grandparents Jose and Sylvia Contreras; aunts uncles, Maribel Contreras, Jose Jr. and Amelia Contreras, Fernando and Nichole Contreras, and Jesus Contreras; and several cousins and other relatives.
