Armen’s life started at birth in the family’s home. Armen lead a life of adventure after graduating from high school. He hitchhiked across country to California to find work in a copper mine. He was injured while on the job which kept him from being drafted into World War II. After sowing his wild oats he decided it was time to settle down. After dating the “Gangian Trio” Lillian Gangian was the love of his life and he asked her to spend the rest of their lives together.Their marriage took place November 1, 1952 and the family started growing. A year later George was born and soon after Owen was born. Trying to round out the family they were shooting for a girl and not long after, Terri was born.
