Ardith Fillipi, 95, of East Grand Forks, MN, formerly of Warren, MN, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016, in Lutheran Sunset Home, Grafton, ND.
Ardith L. Cameron was born on September 14, 1920, to Douglas and Bessie (Moore), in Hallock, MN. Ardith attended school in both Hallock and Northcote, graduating from Hallock High School in 1938. On June 6th, 1942, Ardith was united in marriage to Bob Fillipi. The young couple moved to Warren, MN, where Bob worked in construction and farmed, with Ardith as his bookkeeper. In later years, she also worked at Arctic Cat and Pillsbury. She was active at Grace United Methodist Church and was a past president of the Warren American Legion Auxiliary.
In 1989, Ardith and Bob moved to East Grand Forks, where Bob passed away in 2000.
Ardith is survived by her four children, Dennis (Julie) of Faribault, MN, Shirley (Delwood) Larson of Oslo, MN, Jerold (Debbie) of Emerado, ND, and Janice (John) Kuralle of Iron River, WI; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Niemi of Mesa, AZ and several nieces and nephews..
