Arabelle Jean Wallis, nee Halbert, of Chesterfield, Missouri, formerly of Steelville, Missouri passed away Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the age of 95 years. She was born October 17, 1917 in Steelville, Missouri to Robert Halbert and Lillian Harmon Halbert. In June of 1935 in St. Charles, Missouri she was united in marriage to Jesse Wallis who preceded her in death in 1995.
Arabelle always enjoyed cooking, sewing and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her one son, Richard Wallis and wife Patricia of Phoenix, AZ; one daughter, Donna Glenn and husband Don of St. Albans, MO; one brother in-law, Al Campbell of Branson, MO; two grandchildren, Debra Moore and husband Scott and Shari Schwarts and husband Ed; four great-grandchildren, Haley Schwarts, Kendall Schwarts, Tony Moore and Danielle Moore; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jesse Wallis; two brothers, Jim Halbert and wife Thelma and Glen Halbert; four sisters, Ruby Mann and husband Bruce, Blanche Garcia, Mae Campbell and Dolly Alexander and husband Noel.
The Family received friends from 1:00 p.m.
Honored to be casket bearers were Jim Wallis, Ronnie Waller, Dean Wymer, Don Hedrick, Danny Wallis and Tom Wallis.
