Anna Jagol, 98, of Warren, MN, formerly of Angus, MN, passed away on Monday morning, March 9, 2009 at Riverview Hospital in Crookston, MN.
Anna Boychenko was born on Sept. 7, 1910 in Russia, the daughter of Stephen and Irene Boychenko. She emigrated to the United States with her family in 1911 and they settled in Grassy Butte, ND where she attended school. On July 13, 1929, she married Alec Jagol in Minot, ND. They lived near Grassy Butte and near Red Lake Falls, MN until settling in the Angus area in 1940 where they farmed. Alec died on Nov. 9, 1976. Anna moved to Warren in 1977 and to the Riverview Care Center in June of 2007.
She was a member of Melo Lutheran Church.
