Engebretson, Andrew Paul 44, of Orono, MN, died unexpectedly August 19, 2013, as a result of injuries sustained from a tragic fall in Winter Park, Colorado. Born October 27, 1968 in Edina, MN, the middle son of Peder & Linda (Skrede) Engebretson, he attended the Wayzata Schools and graduated from Wayzata High School in 1987. Andy attended Arizona State University and later University of Colorado – Boulder, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1991. He was a member of the business honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma, and an active member of social fraternity, Phi Sigma Kappa. After graduating, he began his professional life at A.G. Edwards as a institutional bond broker and certified financial analyst (CFA), later working for Wachovia Securities, Wells Fargo Advisors and Wedbush Financial. He was an enthusiastic outdoorsman, and a proud card-carrying member of the NRA. He was an incredibly generous & loving husband, father, son and beloved uncle. Andy was a gifted natural athlete and spent a great deal of time teaching his children his love of track and field, skating, soccer and snowboarding. He was also an avid reader, loved current events, and had a deep amount of gratitude towards the U.S. Military.
