Alice Huffman Adams, 68, of West Saint Paul, passed away at home on April 22, 2021 from respiratory and kidney failure.
Alice was born on July 25, 1952 to Darrell and Grace Huffman in San Rafael, CA. After graduating from Petaluma High School in 1970, she went on to study history at Sonoma State University. In 1972, she met Rick Adams and they wed in 1974, going on to have three children: Joel, Tim, and Heather.
In 1992 Rick and Alice moved their family from California to Burnsville, Minnesota, where they lived for 28 years before recently moving into senior housing.
Alice was an active member of Cedar Valley Church in Bloomington, MN, where she volunteered her time for Wednesday night children’s programs. She loved gardening, sewing, cooking, and was an avid reader of mystery novels and historical fiction. Alice was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will miss her greatly.
Alice was preceded in death by her mother Grace, father Darrell, and brother Larry. She is survived by her husband Rick, sons Joel (Laura) and Tim, daughter Heather (Kit), and her beloved granddaughters Evelyn, Nora, and Rosie.
