Portland – Alan Clarke Rice, 51, of Portland, Maine, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15th, 2013 at Seaside Nursing Home after a long, tough battle with brain cancer. He was surrounded by his family and friends. Born January 20th, 1962 in Portland, Maine to Raymond and Grace (Pressey) Rice.
Alan’s profession as a chef brought him to various restaurants throughout the Portland area. He enjoyed many hobbies especially Yahtzee, candlepin bowling, fishing, camping, pool and cards.
