Aileen Norma Moutray, nee Walker, was born at Huzzah, MO to the union of the late Clyde and Virgie (Clonts) Walker on May 22, 1920 and passed away November 7, 2009 at Delmar Gardens of Creve Coeur, MO at the age of 89.

Aileen married Raymond Moutray on October 29, 1938 at Union, Missouri and to this union four children were born.

She started working in the hot lunch program at Center Point School in 1952. After the school consolidation started, she moved to the lunch program in the Steelville Schools and continued until her retirement in 1997. After retiring, she enjoyed piecing quilts and hand quilting, crocheting, cooking and working outdoors in her flowerbeds and garden.

She knew the Lord as her Savior and was a member of the Center Point Baptist Church. She was a kind and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend, who will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Aileen was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Virgie Walker; her husband, Raymond; one son, Ansley Eugene Moutray; one daughter-in-law, Deloris Moutray; one son-in-law, Walter “Skip” Presley; one brother, Thomas Walker; six brothers-in-law, six sisters-in-law; and one grand-daughter.

Aileen is survived by two daughters, Janet Cook and husband Ernest and Faye Presley of Maryland Heights, MO; one son, Norman Moutray and wife Dora of Germany; two sisters, Ava Bishop and husband Kenneth of Steelville, MO and Florence Souders and husband John of Fenton, MO; six sisters-in-law, Clara Gilmore of St. Ann, MO, Madeline West of Leasburg, MO, Mabel Moutray and Edna Moutray both of Steelville, MO; Peggy Moutray of St. James, MO and Fairy Bryan Walker of Bourbon, MO; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; other friends and relatives.
