Abigail Elizabeth Fones of Foristell, Missouri passed away on October 22, 2018 at the age of 21. She was born in Huntingdon, England on October 23, 1996. She is survived by her father, Steven Fones of Foristell, MO; mother, DeeAnn Fones nee Tharp of Foristell, MO; sister, Madelynn Fones of Foristell, MO; brother, Wyatt Fones of Foristell, MO; paternal grandparents, Jack and Jennifer Isaacs of Farmer City, IL; maternal grandparents, David and Rita Flint of Farmer City, IL; six uncles, Daniel Tharp of Farmer City, IL, Darren (Wendy Iehl) Tharp of Urbana, IL, Derick (Debra) Tharp of Champaign, IL, Mike (Dawn) Fones of Sugar Hill, GA, Jeff (Janelle) Isaacs of Farmer City, IL, JR (Tanya) Brock, Ballwin, MO; two aunts, Darbi (Paul) Buchanan of Bellflower, IL, Donica (David) Blager of Champaign, IL; 17 cousins; beloved boyfriend of three years, Mike Sjostrom and their cherished dogs, Duke and Scout. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John Fones, maternal grandfather, Gail Tharp. Abigail loved animals and she cherished her beloved Duke and Scout. She was a very giving person who spent countless hours volunteering at the Kirksville Animal Shelter. She was an avid reader and traveled the U.S. playing softball. Abigail was active in her school with organizations and clubs. She was also a member of the PSP Sorority. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
