Oberlean G. Hill, age 88, of Athens, passed away on Monday March 7, 2011 at Crestwood Hospital in Huntsville.
Mrs. Hill is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Hill; her son, William Foster Preston; and her parents, Jesse and Mary McKinney Greene.
Mrs. Hill is survived by her grandson, Coogan Preston and wife Heidi, of Athens; her granddaughter, Nikki Pope and husband Greg, of Huntsville; her great granddaughters, Anna, Stephanie, and Layni Pope, and Emma and Kate Preston; her sisters, Geneva Grisham of Ardmore, AL, Peggy Slate and husband Jack of Ardmore, TN, Ann Brandis of Candler, NC, and Faye Bowers of Milton FL; her brothers, Bobby Greene of Athens, Earl Greene and wife Charlotte of Toney, Jesse Greene of Killen, and Jerry Redman of Pensacola, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
