Norman “Jim” Byrd
Norman “Jim” Byrd, 75, of Rosebud, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord May 23, 2015. He was born August 3, 1939 to Luther and Edith (Lacy) Byrd in Ida, Arkansas.
Jim had the sweetest disposition of any man who has ever lived. He loved everyone, and everyone that knew him loved him. His favorite past time was following Nascar events. Jim adored his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eunice Byrd; four brothers: Reo Byrd, Bob Byrd, Wade Byrd, and Leon Byrd; two sisters: Jean Davenport and Charlene Byrd.
Jim is survived by his daughter, Marie (Tony) Woerner of Cabot; two granddaughters: Nikki (Justin) Green and April (Chase) Mehalic both of Quitman; seven great-grandchildren: Braelyn, Kinsley, Blayne, Blayke, Brylee, Kaydence, Kacelyn; one brother, Darrell Byrd; two sisters: Carolyn (Tom) Foote of Greenville, Michigan, and Lavon (Boyce) Stroud of Batesville, Arkansas; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
