Mr. Norman E. Murphy Jr., age 82 of Milford, beloved husband of 59 years to Margaret M. Brady Murphy, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2009 in Milford Hospital.
Son of the late Norman E. and Catherine McQuiggan Murphy Sr., he was born on May 6, 1926 in Providence, Rhode Island.
Norman was a retired Accountant having worked for Easter Seals-Goodwill Industries.
He served with pride and honor in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater.
In addition to his wife, survivors include two loving daughters Sheila Murphy Cook and her husband James of Jefferson City, Missouri and Linda Murphy Ciaburri and her husband William of Hamden, three cherished granddaughters. He was predeceased by his daughter Norma E. Murphy in 1994.
