Norman D. Kinser, 85, Anderson, died June 29, 2004 at Community Hospital, Anderson after an extended illness. He was born October 10, 1918 in Asphalt, Kentucky, and resided in Anderson, Indiana.

He lived in this area since 1947. He retired in 1974 from the Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 31 years of service. He served his country in the US Navy during WWII and received the Victory Medal. He was a minister of the Church of Christ and was a member of the UAW Local #662. He loved his family, country music, gardening, and his five chihuahuas. He greatly loved visiting the nursing homes and musically entertaining the residents. He was involved for several years, starting in 1951, with WCBC Radio programs.

He is survived by his wife whom he married on April 27, 1948: Reva Louise Kopetz Kinser. Eleven Children: Norma Jean Hopkins and her children; Margaret, Patty and Debbie. Larry D. & wife Susan Kinser and their children; Larry Dean and Wendy. Michael & wife Pam Kinser. Elizabeth Meek and her children; Debra, Rachel, Jason & Jennifer. Carol & husband Jim Wood. Vicky & husband Rick Reichenbacher and their children; Jaime and Lauren. Leisa Swider & significant other Eric Martin and her children; Leslie, Chris, Brandi, Tara, and Megan. Cindy Cates and her daughter; Lynnette. Cassandra Dehaan and her daughter; Jenna. Anita & husband Allan Atkinson and their children; Cory and Kelly. Paul Thomas Conway. Siblings: Travis & wife Marcia Kinser, Millie Self, Marjorie Ellis, Leroy Kinser, Ted & wife Carol Kinser, and Ed & wife Jean Kinser. Several Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. Special Friends: Grace & Woody Woodcox, John & Jerry Johnston and many, many others.

He was preceded by his Parents: Silas Oti & Effie Mae Ashley Kinser. Grandson: Michael Norman Kinser. Two Granddaughters: Tara and Elaine Kinser. Daughter-in-law: Helen Kinser. One Sister and One Brother.
