Norman A. Klimek, 72, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 4:00 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2005, in Memorial Hospital. Norman was born on September 22, 1932 in South Bend, to Michael and Martha (Bukowski) Klimek. He retired from Data-Link, where he was employed as the Operations Manager. On May 15, 1954, in St. Adalbert Church, he married, Joan E. Kwasneski, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Linda Plasschaert of South Bend, IN, Patricia Klimek of Indianapolis, IN, Jacqueline (Jeff) Baatz of New Haven, IN and Karen (Robert Polzer) Klimek of Ann Arbor, MI; two sons, David (Diane) Klimek of Osceola, IN, and John (Rebecca) Klimek of Rossville, IN; eight grandchildren, Michael Klimek, Krysta Klimek, Robert Plasschaert, Thomas Plasschaert, Stephen Caskey, Priscella Caskey-Shively, Andrew Klimek, and Nicholas Klimek; and by two brothers, Donald (Sophie) Klimek of South Bend, IN, and Robert (Maxine) Klimek of South Bend, IN. Preceding him in death was one brother, Edwin Klimek.
