Norman A. Fagerquist, 87, of Southbury, died Friday, January 15, 2010 at the River Glen Health Care Center in Southbury. He was the husband of Barbara Kurzrok and was pre-deceased by his first wife, Eleanor Mullin Fagerquist. Mr. Fagerquist was born October 12, 1922 in Auburn, Mass., son of the late Henry and Judy Fagerquist. He received his bachelor’s of science degree from the Hyannis Teacher’s College in Cape Cod and his master’s degree from NYU. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1942 and was stationed in Italy. He held the rank of 2nd Lt. and was a navigator and bombardier, flying bombing missions into Germany with the 459th Bomber Squadron.
