NORMA M. LECLERC, age 87, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 26, 1930 in Newark, NJ to the late John and Madeline (Baldringer) Wyzalek. She attended Bloomfield High School and later graduated from Berkley Secretarial School. In 1953, she married Jean-Yves Leclerc and worked as a billing specialist until her retirement. Norma was a devout Catholic and parishioner of Holy Trinity Church in Gainesville, VA. She was also an avid reader and loyal Capitals fan—mystery and crime novels could always be found by her side, along with the weekly game night schedule. Excellent at cards and crossword puzzles, she had a sly hand and only believed in using pen. Her wit, charm, and selflessness will truly be missed. Her survivors include her sons: John Leclerc and Alan Leclerc with wife Rosalia; her daughters: Madeleine Keane and husband Bill, Denyse Thompson and husband Robert, and Jacqueline Manapsal and husband Mario; and her grandchildren: Amanda McConchie and husband Brian, Colleen Ferguson and husband Aaron, Dillon Henry, Natalie Keane, and the Manapsal grandchildren and great grandchild. She was dearly cherished by her family and will always be remembered as a strong and spirited woman.
