Norma Egginton
Our dear mother and grandmother, Norma Fletcher Egginton, 88, was reunited and welcomed to her Heavenly home by her sweetheart Frank, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. She passed peacefully in her sleep.
Norma was born Dec. 13, 1927 the 6th of 8 children to David S.Fletcher and Mable C. Ernstrom Fletcher.
Raised and educated in Ogden she graduated from Ogden High with a music scholarship to Weber College. She married Frank Egginton in the Logan LDS Temple in July 1948. An accomplished vocal soloist she sang at many school and church events, many times she was accompanied by her husband.
A member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Norma served in many callings. She liked giving parties and was known as “The Party Lady” by her family and Ward members.
She (we’re sure) is now organizing a party in Heaven for family and friends.
Norma is survived by her children Susan (Mike) Sonognini of West Haven, Shaunna (Rocky) Olson of Roy, Heather (Paul)Cannon of Saratoga Springs, Frank (Julie) Egginton of North Salt Lake and Mark Egginton of Salt Lake City.
Mom would want us to tell you that she loves you all and she is very happy.
