Passed away after a recent illness on February 24, 2017, age 89. Beloved wife of the late Albert T. Zapf; she is survived by her children Christina DiSilvestro (Robert) of St. Johns, FL, Arlene Watazychyn of Jefferson Hills, Fr. Albert L. Zapf of Our Lady of Joy R.C. Church, Holiday Park, Kenneth of Wexford and Robert (Barb) of Newport News, VA. She will be missed by her grandchildren Mark DiSilvestro, Debra DiSilvestro, Caryn DiSilvestro Raiford, Kimberly Zapf Beatty, Lisa Watazychyn Fleming and Michael and Mathew Zapf. She leaves behind 10 great grandchildren, a sister, Alberta “Sis” Woolheater of Munhall, a brother, Raymond Wiesen (Dorothy “Dot”) of Fontana, CA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Russell and Lawrence K. Wiesen, a son William, his wife Lynne and their son William, Frank Watazychyn and Eileen Zapf. Norma was a lifelong member of Resurrection R.C. Church in West Mifflin. She enjoyed baking, making rosaries and wristlets, traveling with her family and attending many family celebrations. She also enjoyed listening to polkas and Big Band tunes.
