Norma Jean Markham, age 92 of Centralia passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, in The Villages, Florida, after a brief illness. She was born October 24, 1922, daughter of Charlie A. Brookman and Clara B. (Knauss) Brookman. She married Sydney L. Markham and he preceded her in death.
She was formerly married to the late Gilbert Gherardini.Norma is survived by her son Gary L. Gherardini and wife Sheila of The Villages, FL, grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Gherardini and wife Suzanne of San Francisco, CA, Jonathan S. Gherardini and wife Mary Catherine of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, step grandchildren Niccola F. Nelson and husband Andy of Grover Beach, CA, and Andrew F. Iovino, of West Warwick Rhode Island, and two great grandchildren Megan R. Gherardini and Edward A. Gherardini of Rhode Island.
She was preceded in death by her parents.Norma lived her whole life in Centralia. She was a beautician, a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, a member of the Centralia Lady Elks, and loved to shop. Most of all Norma loved her family, she took great pride in her son, grandchildren and great grandchildren and their accomplishments.
