Norma B. Ivey, 93, of Lincoln, IL and formerly of Virginia, IL died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at St. Clara’s Manor in Lincoln.
She was born September 15, 1915 in Cass County; the daughter of Seth and Nora Thompson Williams. She married F. Dareld Ivey on November 25, 1937 in Maquoketa, IA and he preceded in death on June 16, 1989.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Reichert (husband, H. Gary) of Lincoln; two grandchildren, Heather Reichert of Carpentersville and Eric Reichert of Lincoln; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Bennett and Glenna Williams, and two brothers, Ralph and Seth Eugene Williams.
A 1933 graduate of Virginia High School, Mrs. Ivey was employed at Trenter’s Grocery and Virginia Locker Company. She was a member of Virginia United Methodist Church and a 60 year member of the Order of Eastern Star.
