Noretta Young left this world on October 8, 2019. She was born September 3, 1927, to Ottie Egers and Marina Turner in Marion County, Indiana. Noretta had five children Richard Young (deceased), Robert (Shirley) Young, Melvin Young, and daughter Marina (Bill) Wise, and one son named unknown as well as two foster children. Noretta was blessed to be a grandmother of nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
While living in Indiana she worked among some pretty famous people, she enjoyed her work. She was also a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
I was blessed to visit with her in her final days she told me that “I have had more happiness in Arizona than anywhere else.” She also said, that “she enjoyed 90% of her life.” In her life, she has had a hard life, easy life, and a fool’s life. Noretta ended each conversation with a laugh.
