Alice Noreen James was born in Chariton County, MO on February 16, 1916 to James and Lula Hedrick, one of three children. She passed away January 14, 2014 at the age of 97 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald; her daughter, Janice Brown; her infant, son; her brother, Eldon Hedrick, her sister, Vera Sampson; her granddaughter, Charlotte; one great granddaughter, Rebecca; and one great-great-granddaughter, Alexis.
She is survived by her son, Eugene James, five grandchildren: Melvin (Pat) James, Kevin James, Brandon James, Kristin James, and Scott (Kelsie) Brown; nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
