Norbert Robert Maluchnik, 77 of Toms River passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018. Norbert was born January 22, 1941 to the late Robert and Ann Maluchnik in Jersey City, New Jersey. He attended St. Mary’s High School and served his country in the United States Marine Corp. Norbert was a member of the Division of Motor Vehicles and later served the citizens of New Jersey as a Trooper with the State Police, achieving the rank of Sergeant before retiring in 1996, later becoming a Governor’s Aide. He was a devoted family man and friend to many.
He will be greatly missed. Norbert is predeceased by his parents. Norbert is survived by his loving wife, Joan Prinz Maluchnik; sons, Dennis Maluchnik of Union; Kevin Maluchnik and his wife Lori of Wyomissing, PA; Stepdaughter Sabrena Mihm and her husband Chris; grandchildren, Lauren Maluchnik; Colin Maluchnik; Alyssa Maluchnik and Zoe Mihm.
