New Port Richey, FL – Nora M. Hough, 88, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Vermontville, NY, she was daughter of the late Harry Hall and Maude Ducuette Hall and wife of the late Charles A. Hough. She had resided in Vermontville until 1948 and in West Sand Lake since 1952. She wintered in Florida for the past 19 years and was a graduate of Saranac Lake High School.
Nora was a homemaker, Postal Carrier and worked as a nurses aide at St. Mary’s Hospital for 20 years and the for 11 years at Miller’s Market in West Sand Lake.
She was a communicant of St. Henry’s Church in Averill Park.
Survivors include her children, Jack Hough, Wynantskill, Gail (William) Sansone, West Sand Lake, Dianne Osterhout, Wynantskill, Dennis Hough, Manhattan New York City, Jeffrey Hough, Reichards Lake, Tammey (Keith) Sansone, West Sand Lake, Charles M. (Christine) Hough, North Greenbush and Eric Hough, New Port Richey, a sister, Buelah ‘Aunt Mike’ Lewis, Ocean City, MD; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Frank Hall, Neoma Williams, Florence Hogan, Elwin Hall and Ralph Hall and a son-in-law, Bruce Osterhout, Jr.
