Nonna W. Massoth, age 83, of Remington, IN passed away Saturday May 8, 2010 at the Rensselaer Care Center. Nonna was born on July 13, 1926 in Monticello, KY to the late Obie and Mae (Abbott) Baker. Nonna lived most of her life in Remington, IN. On Jan. 15, 1946 in Remington, IN she married the late Sylvester “Chess” Massoth, who passed away on September 24, 2007.
Nonna had attended Remington schools, She was a sales associate for K-Mart in Monticello, IN and retired in 1988, was a member of the United Methodist Church Remington, IN, Remington VFW Auxiliary Post # 280 and VFW Auxiliary Monticello.
Nonna is survived by; her four children, Henry “Hank” (Ruth) Massoth of Picayune, MS, Marjorie (Roger) Wealing of Remington, IN, Deborah (Ron) McClure of Wolcott, IN, John (Tracy) Massoth of St. Augustine, FL one brother, Frank (Jan) Baker of FL. 6 grandchildren, Ryan, Caleb, Mark McClure, Lisa (Darryl) Hatke, Amy Wealing, Jill (Jason) Keyes, 5 great-grandchildren, Cody, Dylan Hatke, Cassidy Ramos, Madison, Caden Keyes, 1 step-granddaughter Nikki and 1 step great granddaughter Victoria. Nonna is preceded in death by; Her parents, her loving husband, three sisters and one brother.
