Nolan Vester Ball, 78 of Elkton, MD, passed away Monday, March 20, 2006 in his home. Born in Cleveland, VA, on May 14, 1927, he was the son of the late Teddy and Delpha Musick Ball. Nolan served during World War II in the U.S. Army. When he came to Maryland he worked at the Ship Yard at Sparrows Point Maryland. He was an Assembly Line Worker employed by General Motors where he retired after 14 years due to a disibility. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North East, North East, MD. Nolan enjoyed golfing, gardening, collecting and bowling. Mr. Ball belonged to the Son’s of Confederate Veterans and the Masons, Patapsco Lodge #183, A.F., and A.M. Mr. Ball is predeceased by his first wife Delphia R. Ball who died in 1999. He is also preceded in death by his son, Donald L. Ball, Granddaughter; Kimberly Ball, Step-son; Michael Willis and Step-daughter; Karen Sue Willis. Nolan is survived by his Wife: Betty Ball of Elkton, MD, sons: Timothy L. Ball and wife Claudia of Granite, MD, Ronald V. Ball and wife Karen of Bel Air, MD, Richard Nolan Ball, Jr.
