Nina Ann Elder, 72, of Grafton, passed away on Wednesday January 20, 2021 at Grafton City Hospital, in Grafton. She was born on July 21, 1948. Nina was the daughter of late Grace Ellen McDonald and was later adopted by Floyd and Grace Ellen (Trimble) Stokes.
Nina worked in the health care field for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) for several nursing facilities. She loved to play bingo and all the fun that came with it as well as the competition and all the friends she played with. She enjoyed and treasured her family and friends and loved being a Nana to Trenton.
Nina is survived by her cousin Ruth Ellen Poling (Isaac), of Grafton, four nephews; Eric Owens, Grafton Jamie Owens, Grafton, Robert Owens, OH and Anthony Owens, OH, four nieces; Whitney Owens (Andrew Foley), Grafton Enetta Owens, OH, Gail Harris, Grafton, and Ariel Harris, OH.
She is preceded in death by two children Dwayne Stokes and Sonya Stokes and by Robert Bonnell, who was her companion for twenty plus years.
