Nicole (Costa) McKenna of Plymouth, passed away at home with her loving family by her side on February 24, 2021 at the age of fifty-four. She was the beloved wife of Joseph McKenna; loving mother of Earl McKenna of Plymouth, Mariah McKenna of Plymouth, Leanna McKenna of Peabody, Joelin McKenna of Plymouth, and Nick McKenna of Plymouth. She leaves behind her parents Nicola and Anne (Carey) Costa of Framingham. She was the sister of Rosanne Dooley and her husband Jim of Florida and Paul Costa of Framingham.Nicole was born on February 14, 1967 in Framingham. She attended Keefe Tech High School. Nicole, alongside her husband Joe, built a beautiful home in Plymouth where they raised their five children. Nicole was a busy stay at home Mom who dedicated her life to her family. She never missed an opportunity to get involved in anything with her children, whether it was volunteering at their schools, teaching CCD, coaching cheerleading for Plymouth Pop Warner or hosting a team spaghetti dinner. Once the kids reached high school, she began her journey working at Plymouth South, which afforded her the opportunity to have the same schedule as her children. She began working in the cafeteria and worked her way up to Administrative Assistant to the principal, a job she treasured. Nicole had a very strong faith and was a parishioner of New Hope Chapel in Plymouth. She loved people, her community, friends and family. She had a smile that lit up a room and she will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved her.
