Nick S. Robbins, age 65, of Centralia, IL, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Nick was born August 30, 1952 in Centralia, IL, the son of Glenn and Peggy Robbins. He married Karrie Parkinson on June 5, 2004 in Las Vegas, NV and she survives him in Centralia, IL.

In addition to his wife of 13 years, he is survived by son: Jarrod Robbins and wife Keri of Wolcott, CT; daughter: Nicole D’Angelo and husband Paul of Wolcott, CT; three grandchildren: Ethan and Dylan Robbins of Wolcott, CT and Gabriella D’Angelo of Wolcott, CT; step-mother: Phyllis Robbins of Centralia, IL; three sisters: Victoria Clark and husband Ronald of Carterville, IL, Gale Robbins of Centralia, IL and Marsha Robbins of Metamore, IL; aunt: Sandy Stuber and husband Ernie of Centralia, IL; uncle: Don Robbins and wife Diane of Centralia, IL; father-in-law: Darrell Parkinson and wife Patty of Centralia, IL; brother-in-law: Brad Parkinson and wife Angela of Gillette, WY; sister-in-laws: Kristen Houser and husband Mark of Centralia, IL and Kelli Campbell and special friend Denny Isaak of Carlyle, IL; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents. Nick graduated from Herrin High School in 1970. He was Assistant Director of Plant operations at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson motorcycle and sport cars.
