Nicholas Michael Calabro, 18, received his angel wings on March 1, 2013. He was born on September 7, 1994 in Dallas, Texas, where he was a senior at Lake Highlands High School.
Nicholas is survived by his parents Michael and Michelle Calabro and his sister Jenna. He is also survived by grandparents Sue Calabro, Marlys Thacker, Jerry & Nancy Thacker; aunts and uncles Frank Calabro, Jan & Jim Ross, Bob and Gina Calabro, Mark, Steve, and Dan Thacker, and many cousins and cherished loved ones.
Born with special needs, Nicholas was a constant source of inspiration to those who knew him. Despite many health problems and several operations, he always managed to keep a smile on his face. His sense of humor, playfulness, and good-natured mischief warmed the hearts of many. Nicholas loved to watch movies, play with his toys, ride horses, and spend time with his family, friends, and caregivers.
