Nicholas A. Iampietro, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 16, 2007, in his home. He was the husband of Josephine (DeStasio) Iampietro for 62 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Daniel and Rosario Iampietro. Nick was a Master Sergeant in the Army Rangers during WWII. Later he was employed by PBNE Railroad where he was a supervisor for over 30 years until retiring in 1978. He was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church. Survivors: He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Josephine at home; daughter Sister Nancy Iampietro, CPS of Shillington, Pa; sons Nicholas A., Jr. and his wife Raine of Warrington, Pa. and Jim Daniel and his wife Edith of Nazareth; sister Josephine Ford and brother Pasquale and his wife Louise all of Bethlehem; grandchildren Jared, Jacob, Arlynn, Mary Catherine and Adam. He was predeceased by siblings John, Annie and Theresa.
