She was a member of the Fortville Christian Church and retired from the former Western Electric Plant in Indianapolis.
She is survived by her son, John D. (Regina) Shipley of Fortville; grandchildren Tammy (Kent) Steward of Pittsboro and John E. Shipley of Fortville; sisters: Edna Williams and Ruby Whitehead both of TN.
She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
