Neva Furlow Teipen was born August 11, 1928 in Christopher, Illinois. Her parents were Otis L. Furlow and Della (Rowland) Furlow of Christopher, Illinois.
She was married to Joseph L. Teipen. He precedes her in death.
Survivors include three sons: Michael (Nita) Mobley of Salem, Illinois, David (Janet) Mobley of Greenwood, Indiana, and Richard (Melanie) Mobley of Knoxville, Tennessee; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She taught in Emma, Illinois, was employed by the Franklin College, and for Indiana State in the Work Force Development Agency.
Neva was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and of the Franklin and Nineveh Senior Centers.
