Netta Faye Broughton, age 96, of McComb, died on June 14, 2023, at Birchaven Village.
Faye was born on October 23, 1926 in Greenup County, Kentucky, to parents Wesley and Glenna Corns.
She married Elbert “Bud” Broughton on June 7,1947 and they remained happily married for 67 years until his death in 2015.
Faye is survived by her son, Rick (Ann) Broughton of McComb, her grandsons, Steve (Kristina) of Bellville, Ohio, and Tim (Nikki), of Wooster, Ohio; 5 great-grandchildren, Joshua (Rebekkah), Emily (Brad) Mohre, Grayson, Nat, and Luke; and 2 great-great-grandchildren Gideon and Joanna.
She was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Faye was a homemaker and her life revolved around her faith, her family and her friends. Her greatest joy was knowing that her family shares her deep faith in Jesus Christ. She was a member of the McComb Church of Christ.
